Where it began
Born from a personal search
Shazu started the way most meaningful things do — with a need we couldn't find answered anywhere else. We were looking for crystals that felt real: honestly sourced, carefully chosen, and backed by people who actually understood what they were offering.
What we found instead were mass-market shops moving inventory, or boutiques so precious they forgot to be useful. So we built something in between — a shop rooted in the Earth, in intention, and in the belief that healing doesn't have to be complicated.
Today, Shazu ships from California and carries over 1,000 crystals curated for energy, intention, and everyday life. Every stone in our collection has been chosen with care — not just for how it looks, but for what it holds.

I started Shazu because the crystals I found online came in two kinds. Mass-market, where nobody could tell you where a stone came from. Or boutique, priced so high that a first bracelet felt like a commitment. Neither felt honest, and neither felt warm.
So I began choosing stones myself, one batch at a time, and sending them out from California. That is still how it works. When you order, the piece is strung for the size you pick, packed by hand, and posted from here. Orders over $25 ship free.

Straight answers
Questions people actually ask
Are the stones real? Yes, they are natural stones. Some are dyed or heat-treated, which is normal in this trade, and where that is true of a piece we say so on its page. Natural marks, veining and small differences between beads are the stone, not a fault.
What does "AAA" mean on your listings? Nobody officially grades crystal beads. The letters come from the supplier who cut them, so they describe the top tier that supplier offers, not an industry standard.
Do crystals heal anything? We don't claim that, and we won't. People have used these stones in their practices for thousands of years, and many reach for them as a reminder or a small daily ritual. That is what we sell them as.
How long does delivery take? Pieces are made to order, then shipped from California. Free US shipping over $25, $6.90 below that.
