A small parrot hand-carved from green aventurine, perched on a natural Samadhi quartz that was left exactly as it came out of the ground — rough crystal on the outside, the carved bird above it.

It's a desk object more than a jewellery piece. The contrast is the point: something shaped with great care sitting on something not shaped at all.
