Green Phantom Quartz, Carnelian & Pyrite — The First Day Set

The bracelet is clear quartz with green inclusions, and sometimes a phantom: the faint outline of an earlier stage of the crystal, which kept on growing. It is associated with growth and new beginnings. Carnelian is the warm orange one. Romans carved seal rings from it, and it has long been linked with courage. Pyrite is fool's gold, named from the Greek for fire because it sparks against steel. Many people keep a piece on the desk for steady effort.

The bracelet is 8mm round beads on a stretch cord, sized 7 inch (medium). The green differs in every strand, and not every bead shows a phantom. The pocket stones are tumbled.

Keep the pyrite dry; damp dulls it. Take the bracelet off to shower or swim.
